Rodolfo Zúñiga:
Rodolfo Zúñiga is a native of San Jose, Costa Rica . Since his arrival in Miami, he has become one of the most in demand jazz drummers and educators in South Florida. He performs and records regularly with Gary Campbell, Silvano Monasterios, Errol Rackipov, Stephen Scott, Troy Roberts, Martin Bejerano , Aaron Lebos , Jason Hainsworth and Othello Molineaux. He has also been a sidemen with people like Randy Brecker, Lew Tabackin, Joe Locke, Andy Laverne, Don Friedman, Robin Eubanks, Jonathan Kreisberg, Benny Golson, Fred Wesley, and Slide Hampton. 

As a bandleader and composer, his group " Surfaces” has recorded two albums, and maintains a busy schedule on the South Florida jazz scene, as well as in Central and South America. In 2005 the group was awarded the prestigious Carnegie Hall Residency under the direction of Dave Douglas in New York City. In that same year Rodolfo was chosen to be part of Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead Group, with which he toured the U.S and performed at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. 

Recently, Rodolfo has reinvented his Surfaces band as an octet, incorporating strings and vocals. He also keeps a busy local and national performance schedule, and tours the world with Julio Iglesias. He teaches at Florida International University, Miami Dade College, and Broward College.
